Check of developed pressure The purpose of this test consists in checking up that the electronic regulator of pressure supports developed pressure at demanded level. Preparation for check

Before test check up following elements: – The storage battery established in the car should be completely charged; – Check up a tension of a belt of a drive of the generator.
Turn a key in the ignition lock in position OFF.
Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery.
Connect the digital voltmeter between plugs S (L) the generator and "weight". Connect positive щуп the voltmeter to the plug S (L) the generator.
Disconnect a wire from generator plug "B".
Connect the ampermeter of a direct current with a limit of measurement 0–100 A consistently between plug "B" and the wire disconnected from the generator. Be convinced that negative щуп the ampermeter have connected to the wire disconnected from the generator.

Connect a tachometre and a wire to the negative plug of the storage battery.

Check
|
Check up that the voltmeter scale is well visible for definition of size of pressure. The voltmeter should show pressure of the storage battery. If the voltmeter shows pressure 0 In, means, the electric chain connecting the plug S (L) the generator and the positive plug of the storage battery is not closed, or the fusible insert has fused.
Start the engine and switch off all consumers of electric energy.
Increase frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine to 2 500 mines–1 and when the current will decrease to size less than 10 And, read value of pressure on the voltmeter.

Result of check
|
If pressure corresponds to demanded value, means, the pressure regulator is serviceable and works normally. If pressure differs from demanded, means, the regulator of pressure or the generator are faulty.

After end of test of limiting value of the current developed by the generator, translate the engine in a mode of idling and switch off ignition.
Disconnect a wire from the negative plug of the storage battery.
Remove a tachometre, the voltmeter and the ampermeter.
Connect a wire to generator plug "B".
Connect a wire to the negative plug of the storage battery.
