The main brake cylinder

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Disconnect an electric socket from the gauge of level of a brake liquid. Disconnect tubes of brake system from the main brake cylinder and close opened apertures suitable stoppers.

The brake liquid dissolves a paint, plastic and isolation of wires, therefore at casual hit of a liquid on a paint and varnish covering of the car or its components wash out their considerable quantity of water.

    Turn away a nut of fastening of the main brake cylinder and remove the main brake cylinder. The inhaling moment: 8–12 Nm.

Dismantling

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Remove a stopper and merge from a tank a brake liquid.
    Turn out screws and, using a screw-driver as the lever, remove a tank from the main brake cylinder.
    Remove a lock ring.
    Screw-driver press the primary piston, get a cylindrical pin and remove the primary piston.
    Screw-driver press the secondary piston, get a cylindrical pin and remove the secondary piston.

Do not assort primary and secondary pistons.

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Check up an internal surface of the case of the main brake cylinder on absence of a rust and development. Check up the main brake cylinder on absence of deterioration or damages. If necessary clear or replace the main brake cylinder.
  1. If the aperture of the case of the main brake cylinder is damaged, replace the main brake cylinder in gathering.
  2. For removal of pollution clear the case of the main brake cylinder изопропиловым spirit.

Assemblage

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Grease with the recommended brake liquid an internal surface of the main brake cylinder and external surfaces of primary and secondary pistons.
    Accurately insert two springs and pistons into an aperture of the main brake cylinder.
    Press pistons and establish keeping ring.
    Screw-driver press the piston and establish a cylindrical pin. Establish two condensing rings.
    With effort insert a tank into condensing rings of the main brake cylinder.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Establish the main brake cylinder on the vacuum amplifier of brakes. Establish the main brake cylinder and the vacuum amplifier of brakes on a partition of a motor compartment. Connect brake tubes to the main brake cylinder. Attach a vacuum hose to the vacuum amplifier of brakes. Connect draught to a pedal of a brake and establish a pin with a head and an aperture under pin and fix its new spring pinом. Fill in a brake liquid and remove air from a hydraulic contour of brake system.

Do not try to repair the vacuum amplifier of brakes, as it of not folding type.
