Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Remove a gear belt, a forward cover, a flywheel and the oil pallet. Remove a back cover from the block of cylinders and a back sealing ring of a cranked shaft. Turn away a nut and remove covers of rods.

Mark covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft to establish them on the places and in the same position.

    Turn out bolts and remove covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft and a cranked shaft. Remove a rotor of the gauge of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft.

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Check up necks radical and шатунных bearings of a cranked shaft on absence of deterioration and development. Check up lubricant apertures of a cranked shaft on absence of a contamination. By micrometer measure diameters of necks of a cranked shaft in two opposite directions. At presence конусности or ovality перешлифуйте a cranked shaft.

Diameter of radical necks:

- Engines of 1,8 and 2,0 l: 57 mm;
- Engines of 1,6 l: 50 mm.

Diameter шатунных necks: 45 mm

Конусность and ovality of necks of a cranked shaft:

- Engines of 1,8 and 2,0 l: no more than 0,01 mm;
- Engines of 1,6 l: no more than 0,005 mm.

Loose leaves шатунных and radical bearings

Check up шатунные and radical loose leaves on absence of local corrosion, development and other damages. If necessary, replace loose leaves.

Measurement of a backlash radical and шатунных bearings

For measurement of a backlash radical and шатунных bearings measure diameters of necks of a cranked shaft and corresponding internal diameters of bearings.

The backlash size is a difference between internal diameter of the bearing and the corresponding diameter of a neck of a cranked shaft.

Backlash of radical bearings:

- Engines of 1,8 and 2,0 l: 0,028–0,048 mm;
- Engines of 1,6 l: № 1, 2, 4, 5: 0,022–0,040 mm;
- № 3: 0,028–0,046 mm.

Backlash шатунных bearings:

- Engines of 1,8 and 2,0 l: 0,024–0,044 mm;
- Engines of 1,6 l: 0,018–0,036 mm.

Oil sealing rings

Check up forward and back oil sealing rings on absence of damages or deterioration of working edges. In the presence of any defects replace a sealing ring.

Covers of bearings

After installation of covers of bearings turn a cranked shaft and be convinced that it rotates easily and smoothly, and its axial люфт corresponds to the values resulted in the specification.

Axial люфт a cranked shaft: 0,06–0,26 mm.
Maximum permissible axial люфт a cranked shaft: 0,30 mm.

Rotor of the gauge of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Remove a rotor of the gauge of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft. Check up a rotor of the gauge of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft on absence of damages, cracks and deterioration and replace if it is necessary.
    Check up a backlash between a rotor of the gauge of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft and the gauge of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft. A backlash between a rotor of the gauge of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft and the gauge of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft: 0,5–1,1 mm.
  1. Measure depth of installation of the gauge, i.e. distance from the top part of teeths of a rotor of the gauge of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft to a cover outer side.
  2. Calculate a difference between length of the gauge of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft and depth of its installation.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Establish the top loose leaves of radical bearings on the block of cylinders of the engine. At repeated installation of loose leaves establish them on the same places on which they were before removal. Before installation of a cranked shaft apply a thin film pure engine oil on all surfaces of sliding. Establish a cranked shaft on loose leaves of radical bearings in the block of cylinders. Establish the remained loose leaves of radical bearings in covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft. According to marks establish covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft, thus the arrow on each cover should be directed to a pulley of a cranked shaft. In certain sequence for 2 or 3 stages tighten bolts of fastening of covers of radical bearings of a cranked shaft in a following order: central, №2, №4, forward and back.

The inhaling moment:

Covers of radical bearings:

- Engines of 1,8 and 2,0 l: 27–33 Nm tighten on a corner (60–65) ;
- Engines of 1,6 l: 55–60 Nm.

Covers шатунных bearings:

- Engines of 1,8 and 2,0 l: 50–53 Nm;
- Engines of 1,6 l: 32–35 Nm.

    Turn a cranked shaft and check up that it rotates easily and smoothly. Щупом, inserted between a persistent half ring and cranked shaft, check up axial люфт a cranked shaft.

Axial люфт a cranked shaft:

- Engines of 1,8 and 2,0 l: 0,06–0,260 mm;
- Engines of 1,6 l: 0,05–0,175 mm.

Axial люфт a rod: 0,10 – 0,25 mm.

    Grease an external surface of a new back sealing ring with engine oil. The special tool 09231–22000 establish a sealing ring against the stop in a nest of a back cover.
    Establish a cover of a sealing ring, a lining and tighten bolts. At installation grease working edges and an external surface of a sealing ring with pure engine oil. Establish covers of rods. Establish a flywheel, a forward cover, the oil pallet and a gear belt.
