Additional injection of fuel

On some versions каталитических neutralizers NOx additional injection of fuel can lead догоранию NOx. It leads to that the main injection of fuel proceeds during 200 after ВМТ during a working step and a release step. Additional injection of fuel provides giving of certain quantity of fuel in fulfilled gases.

Unlike control and main injections injected fuel does not ignite, and in the form of steam takes away residual heat from the fulfilled gases. During a step of release the mix of the fulfilled gases and fuel through final valves gets to system of release of the fulfilled gases. The fuel part through system рециркуляции fulfilled gases EGR comes back in cylinders for догорания and results besides to effect, as control injection of fuel. Katalitichesky neutralizers NOx use fuel in the fulfilled gases as an actuation mechanism for reduction of maintenance NOx in the fulfilled gases.

As additional injection of fuel leads to dissolution of engine oil, such injection should be approved the manufacturer of engines.
