ECU

ECU estimates the signals received from external gauges, and limits to their admissible level of pressure.
On the basis of the entrance data and the characteristics which have been written down in memory of the microprocessor, ECU calculates time and the moment of injection of fuel and transforms these parametres to target signals which are used for management of fuel atomizers. Besides, target signals also are used for management of various elements and systems, such as a system drive рециркуляции the fulfilled gases, management of the relay of the fuel pump, the fan of a radiator, preliminary heating of the engine and air central air. Executive mechanisms are protected from short circuit and breakage of an electric chain, thus any damages register in memory of the microprocessor. Many target signals are used in other systems of the car.

The greatest loading for the weekend cascades ECU render fuel atomizers. The current of the target cascade creates a magnetic field which is put to a part of an atomizer with the fuel which is under a high pressure in the solenoidal valve of an atomizer. For maintenance of exact quantity of injected fuel atomizer opening should occur very quickly that demands giving ECU of a high voltage. The chain of management of a fuel atomizer has two phases: the phase of opening characterised by consumption of the big current, and the phase of deduction characterised by consumption of a small current.

ECU meets high requirements rather:

– Influences of the surrounding temperature in limits–40... 85C;
– Stability to influence of fuel and lubricants;
– Stability to moisture influence;
– Mechanical loadings.

ECU also possesses electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and has low level of radiated hindrances.
