The gauge measures instant pressure of fuel in the accumulator of a high pressure and transmits signal ЕСМ.

Fuel under pressure through an aperture influences a gauge diaphragm on which the gauge element (the semi-conductor device) is established. Transforming pressure in an electric signal. Through contacts of a socket both an electric chain the generated and strengthened signal is transferred ECU.
Gauge replacement

If target pressure of gauge RPS does not correspond demanded, replace the gauge.
Replace the gauge taking into account following requirements.
If the gauge is established repeatedly, replace the sealing washer made of soft metal;
At removal of consolidation do not damage a condensed surface;
At gauge installation put on a sealing washer of a few lubricant;
The inhaling moment: 352 Nm.
