Check of components of an automatic transmission (F4A42)

Check of the gauge of position throttle заслонки

The gauge of position throttle заслонки is the variable resistor rotating with an axis throttle заслонки and handing over the information on which basis block ESM defines, when throttle заслонка is closed, is completely open or is in intermediate positions.

The gauge is rigidly connected to shaft throttle заслонки. Depending on position throttle заслонки resistance of the gauge changes.

Check of the gauge of temperature of oil

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Remove the gauge of temperature of oil.
    Measure resistance between plugs 1 and 2 sockets of the gauge of temperature of oil. Resistance:
    16,7–20,5 clod at 0C, 0,57–0,69 clod at 100C.

Check of the gauge of speed of the car

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Remove the gauge of speed of the car and connect resistance 3–10 clod, as is shown in drawing.
    Turn a shaft of the gauge of speed of the car and check up that there is a pressure between plugs 2 and 3 (1 turn = 4 impulses).

Check of the relay of management A/T

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Remove the relay of management A/T. Crosspieces connect the plug 2 relays A/T of management with negative (–) the plug of the battery and the plug 4 relays of management with positive () the battery plug. Check up conductivity between the plug 1 and the plug 3 relays of management A/T when crosspieces are connected and disconnected from the battery.
    At connection of crosspieces between relay plugs there should be a conductivity.
    At a detachment of crosspieces between relay plugs there should not be a conductivity.
    If results of check negative, replace the relay.

Check of the solenoidal valve

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Uncover valve cases.
    Disconnect sockets from each solenoidal valve.
    Measure resistance between plugs 1 and 2 each solenoidal valves.

Resistance:

The solenoidal valve of coupling of the shock-absorber: 2,7–3,4 Ohm at 20С
The solenoidal valve of low transfer and backing transfer: 2,7–3,4 Ohm at 20С
The solenoidal valve of the second transfer: 2,7–3,4 Ohm at 20С
The solenoidal valve of lowering transfer: 2,7–3,4 Ohm at 20С
The solenoidal valve of raising transfer: 2,7–3,4 Ohm at 20С

    If resistance of the valve differs, replace the solenoidal valve.

Resistance of solenoidal valves check, connecting an ohmmeter to socket contacts.
