The ignition lock (ST) and the switch of ranges (TR) in cars with an automatic transmission
After key turn in the ignition lock in position START pressure of the storage battery moves to the switch of ranges (TR) and from it to the engine management block.
If the selector lever is not in position P or N, pressure of the battery will not move to the management block. On the basis of this signal the management block defines an operating mode of an automatic transmission and supports frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine on an optimum level.
