The gauge of absolute pressure in an inlet collector represents the sensitive variable resistor. It measures pressure in an inlet collector which changes depending on operational modes of the engine and is transformed to pressure.

The gauge also is used for measurement of atmospheric pressure at start of the engine and provides power setting at different heights above sea level. A gauge food is carried out by pressure 5 V.Na the basis of the information from the gauge the engine management block regulates quantity of fuel submitted to the engine, and also changes a corner of an advancing of ignition.

    Connect the voltmeter between plugs 1 and 4 sockets of gauge MAR.

Contact 1: "Weight"

    Measure pressure.

Target pressure at the included ignition and the idle engine: 4–5 In
Target pressure on frequency of idling: 0,5–2,0 In

    If target pressure of the gauge differs from demanded, replace the gauge.

The gauge of temperature of air arriving in the engine (IAT)

The gauge of temperature of air arriving in the engine is built in the gauge of absolute pressure and represents термистор which resistance changes depending on temperature. Block ESM considers a signal of the gauge and corrects width of the impulse submitted on atomizers therefore the quantity of the fuel submitted to cylinders of the engine changes.

The gauge of temperature of a cooling liquid (ECT)

The gauge of temperature of a cooling liquid is established in a head of cylinders and supervises temperature of a cooling liquid and transmits a signal to the block of engine management ЕСМ. As the gauge the thermoresistor which is sensitive to temperature changes is used. Electric resistance of the thermoresistor decreases at temperature increase.

On the cold engine block ESM works in a mode of an open loop therefore in engine cylinders moves richer топливовоздушная a mix and frequency of rotation of idling increases. It proceeds before achievement by the engine of normal working temperature.

Check

    Heating up a vessel with water and the gauge located in it, check up its resistance.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Put on a carving of the gauge hermetic LOCTITE 962T or equivalent. Screw the gauge and tighten its moment resulted in the specification. The inhaling moment: 15–20 Nm. Connect to the gauge a socket.

The gauge of position throttle заслонки (TP)

The gauge of position throttle заслонки is the variable resistor rotating with an axis throttle заслонки and handing over the information on which basis block ESM defines, when throttle заслонка is closed, is completely open or is in intermediate positions.

The gauge is rigidly connected to shaft throttle заслонки. Depending on position throttle заслонки resistance of the gauge changes.

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Disconnect a socket from the gauge of position throttle заслонки.
    Measure resistance between plugs 2 (weight) and 3 (food) of a socket of the gauge. Resistance: 0,7–3,0 clod.
    Connect an ohmmeter to plugs 2 (weight) and 3 (a gauge exit) a gauge socket. Slowly open throttle заслонку and be convinced that resistance of the gauge smoothly changes proportionally to opening throttle заслонки. If resistance of the gauge differs from demanded or changes in steps, replace the gauge. The inhaling moment: 1,5–2,5 Nm.

The gauge of position of a camshaft (CMP)

The gauge of position of a camshaft develops impulses in ВМТ the piston of the first cylinder in a compression step on which basis block ESM calculates sequence of work of system of injection of fuel.

The gauge of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft (CKP)

The gauge of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft, consists of a magnet and the coil and is located about a gear wreath of a flywheel. The gauge hands over to block ESM the information on an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft (piston position). On the basis of the information of a target signal of this gauge block ESM calculates frequency of rotation of the engine and position of a cranked shaft.

Check (1,6 l I4)

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Disconnect a socket from the gauge of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft.
    Measure resistance between contacts 1 and 2 sockets of the gauge. Resistance: 0,486–0,594 clod at temperature 20С.
    If resistance of the gauge differs from demanded, replace the gauge. A backlash between a rotor and the gauge of an angle of rotation of a cranked shaft: 0,5–1,5 mm the inhaling Moment: 9–11 Nm.

The warmed gauge of oxygen (HO2S)

The warmed gauge of oxygen defines concentration of oxygen in the fulfilled gases and transforms to pressure which transfers to the block of engine management ЕСМ.

Pressure on a gauge exit equally 500 мВ if the fuel mix is richer in relation to theoretical and pressure is equal 100 мВ if a fuel mix poorer (higher concentration of oxygen in the fulfilled gases). On the basis of this data the engine management block changes a fuel parity in топливновоздушной mixes.

Check

  1. Before check warm up the engine until the temperature of a cooling liquid will not be equal 80–95C.
  2. By the exact digital voltmeter measure target pressure of the gauge.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Disconnect a socket from the gauge of oxygen and connect the voltmeter to a socket of the gauge of oxygen.
    Changing frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine, will measure target pressure of the gauge of oxygen. If target pressure of the gauge differs from demanded, replace the gauge. The inhaling moment: 50–60 Nm.
