Balancing shaft

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Remove a gear belt. Turn out all bolts of fastening of the oil pallet. Remove the oil pallet. Remove the mesh oil filter and a sealing ring of round section. Remove a casing of the oil pump.
    Remove the gauge of pressure of oil.
    Turn out bolts of fastening of a balancing shaft.
    Remove knot of balancing shaft.
    Turn out bolts and remove from the block of cylinders the case of the oil pump and a sealing ring of round section. Uncover the oil pump from the case of the oil pump.

Forward cover

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Check up lubricant apertures on absence of contaminations and, if necessary, clear them. Check up the bearings of a forward cover contacting to balancing shaft on absence of deterioration, damages and jammings. Check up a forward cover on absence of cracks or damages and if necessary replace it. Replace the split or damaged forward cover.

Balancing shaft

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Check up necks of shaft on absence of deterioration or jamming In the presence of excessive deterioration or jamming traces, carefully check up the bearing.
    In the presence of defects replace the bearing or a balancing shaft.

Oil consolidation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Check up working edges of oil consolidation on absence of deterioration and damages. Check up working edges of oil consolidation on absence of destruction.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Grease gear wheels and combine adjusting labels on gear wheels.
    Put hermetic Locitite272 on bolts of fastening of a gear wheel and an intermediate gear wheel.
    Using the special tool 09231–27100, establish in the case of the oil pump oil consolidation of the forward party of a cranked shaft.
    Fill with hermetic a groove of the case of the oil pump. Hermetic: Loctite 5900 or equivalent.
  1. The thickness of a layer of hermetic should be nearby 2,50,5 mm.
  2. After hermetic drawing establish the case of the oil pump within no more than 5 minutes
    Establish in the case of the oil pump a new sealing ring of round section and temporarily tighten bolts of fastening of the pump. Establish the case of the oil pump with a new sealing ring of round section and tighten the demanded moment bolts of fastening of the oil pump. The inhaling moment: 20–27 Nm.
    Establish the block of balancing shaft in the block of cylinders.
    Put a hermetic layer in a groove of a flange of the oil pallet.
  1. The thickness of a layer of hermetic should be 30,5 mm.
  2. After hermetic drawing establish the oil pallet within no more than 5 minutes
    Establish the oil pallet and fix bolts, having tightened their demanded moment. The inhaling moment: 10–12 Nm.
    Using the special tool, screw the gauge of pressure of oil, preliminary having greased a carving of the gauge with a hermetic layer. Hermetic: Threebond 1104 or equivalent.

Do not tighten the gauge of pressure with application of the big moment of an inhaling. The moment of an inhaling of the gauge of pressure: 15–22 Nm.
