Gear belt

Removal

Turn a cranked shaft clockwise and combine adjusting labels that the piston in the first cylinder was established in the top dead point in a compression step. At this time adjusting labels of a pulley of a camshaft and a cover of a head of the block of cylinders should be combined, and the adjusting pin of a pulley of a camshaft should be above.




 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Remove поликлиновой a belt and a pulley of a cranked shaft. Remove a casing of a gear belt. Remove an arm of a support of the engine.
    For a head of the big bolt turn the mechanism of a tension of a gear belt before combination of a basic plate with an aperture in a casing, then insert a clamp into an aperture.
    Shestigrannym key loosen the a fixing bolt.
    For a head of the big bolt turn the mechanism of a tension of a gear belt against the stop clockwise.
    Tighten fixing bolt.
    Remove a gear belt.

Note a direction of rotation of a gear belt for its repeated installation in initial position.

    Turn out шарнирный a bolt and remove the mechanism of an automatic tension of a gear belt.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    . Check up pulleys of distributive and cranked shaft, a pulley of the mechanism of a tension and a single pulley on absence of non-uniform deterioration, cracks and damages. Replace them as required. Check up ease and smoothness of rotation of a pulley of the mechanism of a tension and a single pulley, and also absence of extraneous noise at rotation. Replace them as required.
    Replace pulleys if there is a lubricant leak.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Check up the mechanism of an automatic tension of a gear belt on absence of leaks and, if necessary, replace it.
    Check up a tip on absence of deterioration or damages and, if necessary, replace it.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Check up a gear belt on absence of traces of oil, water or a dust. If it is necessary replace a belt. Insignificant traces should be threadbare by a dry fabric or a paper. Do not clean a gear belt solvent. After repair of the engine or adjustment a belt tension, check up a belt condition. In the presence of following defects, replace a gear belt.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Establish a pulley of a cranked shaft on a cranked shaft.

Special attention turn on a direction of installation of a flange. If the pulley is established incorrectly, it will lead to damage of a gear belt.

    Establish a special washer and screw a bolt of fastening of a pulley to a cranked shaft and then tighten a bolt. The inhaling moment: 185–195 Nm.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Check up position of adjusting labels.
      From outside a cranked shaft: an adjusting label on a pulley of a cranked shaft and a rod for installation of the moment of injection; From outside a camshaft: an adjusting label on a pulley of a camshaft and a head of cylinders.
    Establish the tension mechanism. Establish the mechanism of an automatic tension of a gear belt.
    Tighten шарнирный a bolt. The inhaling moment: 50–55Nm.
    Establish a gear belt.

Defect
1. A rigid return surface of a gear belt

The surface has a glossy appearance. Rigidity of a surface is that that the nail does not leave traces on a belt

2. Cracks on a return surface of a gear belt

The normal belt should have an equal lateral end face, as though cut off by a sharp knife

    Loosen the the fixing bolt, thus will move the lever of the mechanism of a tension and will automatically pull a gear belt.
    Turn clockwise a cranked shaft of the engine on two turns and check up combination of adjusting labels.
    Tighten fixing bolt. Remove a clamp.
