Corners of installation of forward wheels

Check of corners of installation of forward wheels is necessary for spending at the stand, thus the car should be in horizontal position with the forward wheels established for rectilinear movement. Be preliminary convinced that the suspension bracket and a steering are in a normal state, tyres and wheels have no defects.

Convergence

The convergence is defined as a difference of distances (В–А) between forward and back boards of rims of wheels. The positive convergence means that wheels are in front located is more close to each other, than behind, at measurement at height of an average point of a wheel.

If the convergence does not correspond to demanded value, loosen the the left and right counternuts of tips of steering draughts, then, rotating draughts, establish demanded corners. Tighten counternuts. A convergence (B–A): 02 mm.

    Convergence adjustment should be carried out by rotation of the left and right tip of steering draught on an identical corner.
  • At convergence adjustment loosen the an external collar of fastening of a protective cover to prevent its twisting.
  • After adjustment tighten counternuts of tips of steering draughts and collars of fastening of covers.
  • Adjust a convergence so that the difference between the left and right party did not differ more than on 1 mm.

The moment of an inhaling of a counternut of a tip of steering draught: 50–60 Nm

Disorder

Disorder is an angle of slope of a wheel in relation to a road covering in a vertical plane. It can be positive if wheels are inclined outside, or negative if wheels are inclined inside. The disorder corner is established at manufacturing of the car and cannot be regulated. Disorder: 0 30 '.

Corner of a longitudinal inclination шкворня

The corner of a longitudinal inclination шкворня is established at manufacturing of the car and cannot be regulated. If the corner of a longitudinal inclination шкворня does not correspond to demanded values, replace погнутые or the damaged details. A corner of a longitudinal inclination шкворня: 249'30.


  1. Before check and adjustment of corners of installation of wheels the forward suspension bracket should be free from the worn out, free or damaged details.
  2. Adjustment of corners of installation of wheels is necessary for spending, using the special tool 09529–21000.
  3. Disorder and corner of a longitudinal inclination шкворня are established at manufacturing of the car and cannot be regulated.
  4. If disorder and a corner of a longitudinal inclination шкворня do not correspond to demanded values, replace погнутые or the damaged details.
  5. The difference of a deviation of a corner of a longitudinal inclination шкворня between the left and right party of the car should be no more 30 '.

Adjustment of a convergence of back wheels

Convergence of back wheels: 4 (3/–1) mm.

Adjustment of a convergence of a back wheel spend turn of connecting draught of the cross-section lever of a back suspension bracket.

Left-hand side: rotation clockwise–> a positive convergence.
The right party: rotation clockwise–> a negative convergence.
Convergence change at turn of connecting draught on one turn: 0,6 mm (0,6 ).

After convergence adjustment tighten both nuts the demanded moment.

The inhaling moment: 50–60 Nm.
