Check of density of a cooling liquid
Ареометром measure relative density of a cooling liquid.
Take temperature of a cooling liquid and depending on temperature calculate concentration of antifreeze in a cooling liquid.
Example
Safe working temperature–15C at the weighed relative density 1,058 and temperature of a cooling liquid 20C. |
- If concentration of a cooling liquid below 30 %, anticorrosive properties of a cooling liquid go down.
- At concentration more than 60 % worsen frost resistance of a cooling liquid. For these reasons, be convinced that concentration of antifreeze in a cooling liquid is in precisely admissible limits.
- Do not use cooling liquid together with other mark of antifreeze.
