Removal

Before removal of power shafts close towels all sharp sides about power shafts that will provide protection of covers against damages.

At power shaft removal be careful not to stretch the hinge of equal angular speeds as thus there can be a separation of internal elements of the hinge and to its possible damage. The SHRUS and a protective cover should be reliably protected at performance of works with power shafts or about them.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Remove a forward wheel.
    Remove pin, turn on castellated a nut and remove a washer of fastening of a power shaft to a nave of a forward wheel.
    Take pin and turn away a nut of fastening of a pin of the spherical hinge of a tip of steering bent for to a rotary fist. A stripper 09568–34000 squeeze out a pin of the spherical hinge from a rotary fist.

Cord fix a stripper for the nearest element of the car.

    Remove a support and a soft wire fix it on a forward rack.
    By the indicator of hour type measure palpation and an axial backlash of a nave of a forward wheel.
    Stripper 09568–34000 disconnect the spherical hinge of the bottom lever from a rotary fist.
    Remove the gauge of frequency of rotation from a rotary fist.
    Note position and turn out bolts of fastening of the bottom part of a rack of a forward suspension bracket to a rotary fist. Kapron hammer beat out a power shaft from a nave of a forward wheel. If the power shaft densely sits in a nave of a forward wheel, spray пропиточный aerosol solvent on area шлицов and then repeatedly screw a nut with a fillet so that it settled down flush with a shaft end face. Striking on a nut a brass hammer, beat out a power shaft from a nave. Remove a rotary fist together with a nave of a forward wheel.

Dismantling

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Turn out two screws and remove a brake disk from a nave of a forward wheel.
    Remove a lock spring ring.
    Establish special tools 09517–29000, 09517–21500, as is shown in drawing.
    Turning the special tool, remove a nave of a forward wheel from a rotary fist. Remove the special tool and a dustproof ring.
    The special tool 09495–33000, 09551–31000 remove an internal ring of the bearing from a nave.
    The special tool 09495 – 33100, 09517–29000 remove an external ring of the bearing from a rotary fist.

Check

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Check up a nave on absence of cracks and deterioration. Check up a brake disk on absence of development and damages. Check up a rotary fist on absence of cracks. Check up the bearing on absence of cracks or damages.

Assemblage

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Apply a thin film консистентной greasings in an aperture of a rotary fist and on an external ring of the bearing.
    Press with оправкой 09495–33100 corresponding diameters запрессуйте the new bearing of a wheel.
    Do not make effort of a press an internal ring of the bearing.
  • At installation always use the new bearing.
    Establish a spring ring in a groove of a rotary fist. Establish a dustproof ring.

    Press with оправкой 09495–33100 corresponding diameters запрессуйте a nave in the wheel bearing.

Do not make effort of a press an external ring of the bearing.

    Establish a brake board.
    The special tool 09517–21500 tighten a nave to a rotary fist, having tightened a bolt of the adaptation the moment 200–260 Nm.
    Some times turn a nave that bearing elements were established on the places.
    Measure a twisting moment which is necessary for putting for проворачивания the bearing. A twisting moment: no more than 1,8 Nm.
    If a twisting moment 0 Nm, measure axial люфт the nave bearing.
    If the twisting moment exceeds demanded value, means, the bearing is incorrectly established in a rotary fist and on a nave. Disassemble a rotary fist and repeatedly collect it. Axial люфт the bearing: no more than 0,008 mm.
    Remove the special tool 09517–21500. Establish a brake disk and fix its screws.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

    Installation is spent to sequences, return to removal.

Tighten carving connections by the demanded moments in a following order:

Nut of fastening of a power shaft: 200–260 Nm
Nut of fastening of a pin of the spherical hinge of the bottom lever to a rotary fist: 60–72 Nm
Nut of fastening of a rotary fist to stojke:130-150 Nm

    Establish a rack and a power shaft in a rotary fist. Connect gauge ABS. Establish a support. Tighten a nut of fastening of a pin of the spherical hinge of the bottom lever to a rotary fist. Tighten a nut of fastening of a pin of the spherical hinge of a tip of steering bent for to a rotary fist and fix its pin. Establish a washer and tighten castellated a nut.
    Establish pin.
    Establish a wheel.
